A 3 month temporary contract (3 months only) for a QA tester on short session arcade games for Reddit, MSN and other channels, at a games company with a 400+ title catalog. Hybrid, based in Delhi.
Founded in 1972, the company is a pioneer of the video game industry, with a portfolio of 400+ games and franchises. The India team is a growing team working closely with colleagues in North America and Europe on projects that move the company forward.
We're reimagining the company's classic arcade catalog as short session games for Reddit, MSN and emerging channels. We need a QA Engineer who can catch problems before players do, keep releases moving on tight timelines, and make sure every title meets platform certification standards before it goes live.
Test each title through the full pipeline: functional, regression, compatibility and performance testing before every release
Look past surface bugs to judge the whole experience: gameplay feel, pacing, difficulty balance, onboarding and UX, not just whether the UI technically works
Write and maintain test plans and test cases for internal and outsourced titles
File clear, reproducible bug reports and track them through to a verified fix
Check builds against platform certification requirements (Reddit, MSN) before submission
Work closely with producers and developers to triage issues and keep releases on schedule
Test across multiple devices, browsers and aspect ratios, since these games need to hold up on any screen
Watch for performance issues like slow load times, dropped frames and memory spikes, and document them with clear repro steps
Run regression passes after patches and live ops updates
Track quality metrics such as crash rate, open bug count and time to fix, and report weekly
Use AI tools to speed through repetitive work, like drafting test cases or doing a first pass on logs, so you can move on to the next title sooner
3+ years in QA/testing for games (mobile, casual or browser titles)
Experience testing Unity and/or HTML5 games across browsers, devices and aspect ratios
An eye for UX as well as UI: you notice when something feels off even when nothing is technically broken
Good bug reporting discipline: clear repro steps, sensible severity calls, thorough verification after fixes
Comfortable running QA on several titles at once within tight release windows
Some familiarity with platform certification or submission requirements (Reddit, MSN or similar)
Used to working with AI tools day to day, for things like generating test cases, scanning logs or drafting reports, to get through routine work faster.
Exposure to live ops testing: post launch patches, events, seasonal content
Basic scripting or test automation experience
Passion for retro/arcade gaming and the company's catalog
Experience with bug tracking or test management tools such as Jira or TestRail
Build in gaming, not just hire for it: real ownership and direct access to leadership
Hybrid, flexible, trust driven environment
Zero cost comprehensive medical cover
Ambitious, collaborative, genuinely fun team
