Work on the platform code behind a cloud gaming service that streams PC and console-class games to low-powered devices in real time. The company is a Bangalore-based mobile entertainment business with 70M+ subscribers.
The company's direct-to-consumer Smart Console proposition is designed to deliver a premium console and PC gaming experience across Smart TVs, laptops, tablets and smartphones without requiring expensive traditional gaming hardware. The offering includes a Smart Console, Pro Controller and access to premium games through its cloud gaming platform. It launched on a leading Indian e-commerce marketplace in June 2026 as the company's entry into India's console gaming market.
We operate a high-performance cloud gaming platform that runs PC and console-class games on data centre GPUs and streams them seamlessly to low-powered devices in real time.
We are looking for a core systems developer to own the platform code behind our runtime environment, store integrations and streaming pipeline. This is a full-time role within the Cloud Gaming Engineering team.
This is an engineering-focused role where you will tackle hard systems problems, from debugging complex, undocumented runtime failures to optimizing pipeline latency so cloud play feels indistinguishable from local gameplay.
Lead deep-dive debugging for title launch failures, crashes and performance issues.
Identify root causes across the stack, including DRM, drivers, launchers, overlay conflicts and title-specific issues.
Implement permanent platform-level fixes.
Work directly within the streaming pipeline (GStreamer/WebRTC) across video encoding, transport and input handling.
Maintain strict latency and frame-pacing budgets.
Own the platform code behind the runtime environment, store integrations and streaming pipeline.
2-4 years of hands-on software development experience with strong systems-level programming and debugging fundamentals.
Proficiency in Python.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve low-level runtime errors, race conditions, driver/GPU interactions and application launch failures.
Exposure to media pipelines (e.g., GStreamer) and real-time streaming protocols (e.g., WebRTC, ICE/TURN, packet loss/jitter management).
Experience working with REST APIs, OAuth/auth flows, data persistence and third-party API/storefront integrations.
B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
Proficiency in Go will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in Cloud Gaming products will be an added advantage.
Are a hands-on systems developer who can connect Game Runtime + Streaming Pipeline + Store Integrations and own the platform code that sits behind them.
Are comfortable tackling hard systems problems and able to debug complex, undocumented runtime failures across the stack.
Focus on permanent platform-level fixes.
Resolution of title launch failures, crashes and performance issues at the root cause.
Latency and frame pacing held within budget.
Cloud play that feels indistinguishable from local gameplay.
