Info

Every job here is a live opening at one of our client companies — game studios, robotics teams and interactive tech firms. We don't name the company on the listing. That's at the client's request, and we'll tell you exactly who it is on our first call, before anything goes further.

Filter by location or type. If nothing fits, send your CV to info@playdawn.com and we'll hold it on file with your permission.

Process

How this works

Every client runs their own interview process, so the second half varies. The first half is always the same.

  1. You apply, or we reach out — Applications here come straight to our recruiters. Most of the people we place, we approached directly.

  2. A few questions over chat or email — Before we set up a call, we ask a handful of quick questions on WhatsApp or email: current role, notice period, location and what you're expecting on compensation. Two minutes to answer, and it saves you sitting through a call for a job that was never going to work.

  3. The profiling call — 30 to 45 minutes. We go through your actual projects, engines and tools, what you owned, and what you want next. This is what the client's shortlist gets built from. We also tell you which company the job is with, and what they're like to work for.

  4. We ask before we submit — Company, role, package, team. Nothing goes across until you say yes.

  5. Client interviews — Usually two to four rounds. We brief you before each one and chase feedback after, so you're not left guessing.

  6. Offer and paperwork — We handle the back-and-forth on numbers, joining date and counter-offers.

  7. After you join — We check in at your first week, first month and third month. If the job isn't what was described, we'd rather hear it early.

Why we don't name the company

Most of our clients ask us to keep hiring quiet — sometimes it's an unannounced project, sometimes they're replacing someone who hasn't left yet. It isn't a screening tactic. You'll know who they are on the first proper call, and you can walk away right there if it isn't for you.

A few things we won't do

We won't send your CV anywhere without telling you first. We won't put you forward for a job you're not right for just to fill a slot. If a process goes quiet at the client's end, we'll say so instead of going quiet ourselves.
