We Ran Their Assessment. Then They Asked What Else We Could Run.

Client :

A Singapore-linked games studio hiring in India

Engagement Period:

2 months

Motion design is a discipline where showreels reward editing as much as ability. This studio understood that, which is why their process included a 30-minute timed exercise , a genuinely good piece of assessment design, and more rigorous than most studios attempt.

Timed assessments are also operationally demanding. Someone has to brief each candidate, hold the window open, steady the nerves, chase the submission and follow up on the ones who go quiet.

We offered to run it, and did , candidate after candidate, across two months, feeding results back as they came.

We also kept our own pipeline honest. When one candidate became unresponsive after being briefed, we did not leave him in the tracker to quietly expire. We withdrew him and told the client why.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT

Six weeks in, we sent them a proposal for HR process outsourcing. When a client sees you run part of their process well, the conversation naturally turns to what else could work the same way.

“Recruitment agencies send you candidates. We would rather run the part of the process you would rather not.”
